Optical illusions require no special introduction as nearly every person is aware of these and eventually make it a leisure activity. They are sharpening our minds as blades with very few losses attached to them, making them ideal for all age groups. Many people think that these illusions deceive us, but in reality, our brain seeks more contextual information from the background to try to work out the alignment of an object when we see it. These illusions therefore happen within a blink of an eye where our brain simply cannot always correct them, and thus get confused in understanding the pattern of the illusion.
These activities are mainly harmless to our eyes. But if you focus on them for a long period then they can also cause eye strain and lead to headaches. In a context one can say that we are being fooled by these optical illusions, because our brain constantly tries to make sense of the visual information they receive, leading to different interpretations of the human brain. It is one of the ways optical illusions work or trick our eyes and create conflicting cues.
