PATNA: The proposed meeting of non-NDA opposition leaders would be held in Patna on June 12, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar said here on Sunday.
Addressing a meeting of JD(U) leaders at the party’s state office here, Nitish said when he dumped the BJP in August last year and formed a new government in alliance with the RJD, Congress and others, the leaders of many political parties from across the country congratulated him. “Right now, we are working to unite the opposition parties from across the country against the BJP. Very soon, a positive result will come out. April 12 has been fixed for the meeting of opposition leaders,” Nitish told the party leaders.
