The operator of a new gym at a Nottinghamshire retail park has been confirmed. Chilwell Retail Park is located on Barton Lane and is home to many major retailers.
This includes TK Maxx, Matalan, Halfords, Sports Direct, McDonald's and Costa, among others. Now, Broxtowe Borough Council has received plans containing information on who will run new gym at Unit 7B at the retail park.
Those plans indicate 'The Gym' will be moving into the unit, with permission for relevant signage submitted to the council. Residents previously had mixed reactions to the news that the gym would open at the retail park back in October 2021.

The Gym already operates in the city centre, as well as in Castle Retail Park and in Mansfield Road in Sherwood. It offers gymgoers membership starting from £15.99 a month with no joining fee and no contract.
