CHANDIGARH: Under Operation Akraman-V, a special drive to Clean-Up the crime and criminal elements across the state, Haryana Police has successfully conducted a series of coordinated raids and arrested 1,334 accused while lodging 565 FIRs under various sections of IPC, NDPS, Arms and Excise Act.
Director General of Police (DGP), PK Agrawal said on Monday that the Police Department had been collecting pinpointed intelligence on criminal activities in the State including trafficking of illegal arms, narcotic substances and illicit liquor.
