Opening of new playground at Darndale Park welcomed by locals

Darndale Dublin

A new playground at Darndale Park officially opened today and received a warm welcome from the local community.

The playground's features are designed to "promote imaginative and constructive play" as well as "encourage group play and socialisation". There are also inclusive and accessible play pieces on site.

The playground was created with strong consultation with the local community. Dublin City Council’s Parks Service and Play Development Officer held consultations with local children and a local creche before going to tender.
