McDonald's has announced the official opening date for its new restaurant in Swansea. Those who use Fforestfach Retail Park will have noticed construction taking place in an area of Tesco car park, which has been cordoned off by fences, with diggers and JCBs at work since March earlier this year.
Now following "significant investment" from local franchisee Pippa Mounsey the restaurant will open on June 21 for dine-in, takeaway, drive-thru, delivery services, and click and serve with opening hours from 7am until 11pm seven days a week.
The new restaurant will create around 150 new full- and part-time jobs and will feature table service, self-ordering kiosks, a large outside patio area including a play place, and a drive-thru with smart digital drive-thru menu boards.
