The opening date for the new bar replacing the Baltic Social has been announced, along with a number of live music for its opening weekend.
Arts Bar announced in January that it would be opening a second venue in the city. Like the Hope Street site, Arts Bar Baltic will host live music from local acts, with drinks and food also available.
Now, the team has announced its opening day will be this Friday, March 10. Furthermore, an extensive line-up of live music has been planned across that weekend.

Singer-songwriter Ben Paveley and drummer Jacob Carlton are performing together, as well as the Queensway collective which promotes underrepresented electronic music artists in Merseyside.
Saturday sees Irish-born Nat Kelly and B2B taking to the stage. There will also be sets from G33 and Sophia Violet, who are part of DJ collective Girls Don't Sync. Rounding off the opening weekend on Sunday will be soul singer Ellena Storey, who is based in West Kirkby.
Arts Bar Baltic will be taking up residence on the ground floor of Elevator Studios on Parliament Street, which previously hosted the Baltic Social. It describes its new site on Instagram as a a "vibrant space in the heart of the Baltic Triangle", with "live music, fresh coffee, delicious food & tasty bevs".
In an earlier Instagram post, it paid tribute to the "wonderful" Baltic Social and said it "hoped to bring to life as many amazing memories as they did in the space".
Arts Bar also offer studio space to local artists in their Hope Street premises, as well as producing a YouTube channel, podcast and blog based around local music.
