Opening date announced for new Nottingham Jurassic golf course with giant dinosaurs

The dinosaurs of Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf are getting to roar at the opening of Nottingham's new family attraction. Anyone passing the construction site, in Stockhill Lane, in the last few months will doubtless have seen some of the prehistoric creatures already, including a the five-metre tall T-Rex.

As well as a huge gushing waterfall that cascades into a lagoon, visitors will find six dinosaurs, from the giant T-Rex which roars and breathes, right down to a baby Triceratops As well as 18 of the best and most challenging holes of mini golf anywhere in the country, Jurassic Cove also offers its own cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks as well as ample free parking.

The new attraction will open to the public on Saturday July 8. “We’ve purposely made the course very lifelike so visitors will get a true immersive experience, like taking a step back in time. In building the new 18-hole site, we’re extremely proud to be supporting the local community by creating three full-time jobs and further part-time vacancies during the summer,” said CEO Charlton Cooper.

Ticket prices are £.7.50 adults and children 13 and over; children (three to 12) concessions £6; family ticket £24.95. They can be bought online at jurassiccove.co.uk
