Meta may have just revealed its high-end Meta Ray-Ban Display smart glasses, but it could soon lose the throne to a little upstart dubbed OpenAI. Reportedly, the ChatGPT-maker wants to develop a suite of AI-capable devices.
OpenAI's mysterious wearable "third-core" AI device could be followed by other Jony Ive-designed and AI-based products, including a smart speaker with a display, a voice recorder, and a pair of smart glasses. With that, OpenAI is allegedly raiding Apple for designers and building inroads with Apple's supply chain suppliers.
