After yet another loss, the Denver Broncos are now 3-8. The Chicago Bears (3-9) and Houston Texans (1-9-1) are the only teams in the league who have worse records entering Week 13 of the season.
Denver’s record might not be the worst in the NFL, but on paper, they look like they’re contending for “worst team in the NFL” status. Nate Davis of USA TODAY Sports agrees — he has the Broncos ranked 31st in his latest NFL power rankings.
Here is Davis’ commentary on Denver this week:
DL Mike Purcell to QB Russell Wilson, “Hey, buddy, congratulations on that 300th touchdown pass. You’ll overtake Elway with the next one!”
Elsewhere in the division, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 2, followed by the Las Angeles Chargers (No. 17), Las Vegas Raiders (No. 28) and Denver.
The Baltimore Ravens, who the Broncos will play on the road this week, are ranked 8.
The Philadelphia Eagles remain ranked No. 1 on Davis’ list and the Houston Texans are ranked No. 32 (last). To view Davis’ complete NFL power rankings going into Week 13, visit USATODAY.com.
