Onlookers were left shocked in Dublin city centre on Bank Holiday Monday as a man was viciously assaulted by a gang in broad daylight.
The incident happened at a bus stop on Aston Quay when the man in his 30s was set upon by the gang. Footage seen by Dublin Live shows at least eight men surrounding him while he is being punched to the ground.
People standing at the bus stop can be seen rushing out of the way on the path as he is pushed against a wall. He is then kicked repeatedly as horrified onlookers shout at the group to leave him alone.
