LUDHIANA: Prominent city industrialist Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman cum Managing Director of Avon Cycles Limited, has been honoured with the Distinguished Entrepreneur Award by speaker of the Lok Sabha Shri Om Birla, during PHDCCI’s 117th annual session 2022 held on Friday at New Delhi.
Pahwa's company Avon cycles is one of the largest player in the Indian bicycle industry, churning out 2.5 million bicycles every year. Company has a strong market presence in the country with a network of 1500 dealers spread across India and also exports substantial numbers of bicycles to Africa, Sri Lanka and parts of Europe. Avon currently has an exhaustive range of over 200 products for all segments of consumers.
