A road traffic incident involving one vehicle on the A19 has seen one person require hospital care on Sunday evening.
All three emergency services were on the scene of the crash on the A19 in North Tyneside, near the Holystone Roundabout. The incident has seen the road partially closed.
The road traffic collision (RTC) involving a single vehicle near and is thought to have occurred on the slip road joining the A19. Northumbria Police and Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue confirmed they were in attendance at the scene, along with North East Ambulance Service personnel. The emergency services were called shortly after quarter to nine.

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said a vehicle had rolled over and one person had been taken to hospital. They said: "We have reports that this vehicle has rolled over. We sent two ambulances to the scene - and we are still on the scene but will be taking one patient into hospital in Cramlington."
Northumbria Police confirmed: "There's a partial lane blockage and officers are on the scene." A Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "There's been an RTC involving a single vehicle. We are at the scene along with the police and ambulance service."
The police confirmed they had received a call to the incident at 20.48pm.
