One person rushed to hospital after fire breaks out in West Lothian prison

A person has been rushed to hospital after emergency services tackled a fire at a West Lothian prison.

A fire had broken out within HMP Addiewell and fire crews and Police Scotland rushed to the prison in West Calder just after 3.35pm on Wednesday, May 3.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue sent three appliances to tackle the blaze
