A person has been hospitalised after a crash in Paisley.
The incident involved two vehicles that crashed on Morar Drive near Brediland Road around 1.15pm yesterday.
Brediland Road was shut for a period of time as police and paramedics attended the incident.
The vehicles, a blue Peugeot SUV and a silver Skoda, were so severely damaged that recovery had to be arranged.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 1.18pm to attend a road traffic collision on Morar Drive.
“Two ambulances and two special operations resource teams (SORT) were dispatched to the scene. One patient was transported to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed officers were also in attendance.
Speaking to the Paisley Daily Express yesterday afternoon, they said: "Police were called to a road crash around 1.25pm on Morar Drive and officers attended. Vehicle recovery is being arranged."
