One person has been arrested following a police chase in Trafford. A stolen motorbike has also been recovered.
The drama unfolded in Sale overnight on Thursday. While on their way back to the station, officers were following a vehicle, when the driver decided to try to make off and hide the bike nearby.

Police took pursuit on foot, and after a short chase one person was reportedly arrested.
GMP Sale tweeted the result, saying: "ARREST | Whilst returning to the station from our busy #OpSceptre deployment PS Scanlon followed a vehicle, the driver of which decided to make off and hide the bike nearby nearby. After a short foot chase, one detained and a stolen motorcycle recovered #SouthNeighbourhood."
