One of your old 50p coins may be worth more than £150

If you see an image of Kew Gardens on one of your 50p pieces, you're in the money. For, the Manchester Evening News reports, that particular coin has once again topped the most wanted 50p coin index.

According to the Change Checker eBay tracker, it can fetch £156 on the auction site - but can go as high as £250. The coin was issued in 2009 to mark 250 years since the Kew Gardens opening in 1759, and there are only 210,000 in circulation.

The 2011 triathlon 50p is also valuable with around 1,163,500 in circulation. It is worth between £8 and £11.
