One of the most important goals in Celtic's history looks even better up close

Celtic have made history many times in the last decade, clinching an unprecedented quadruple treble between the years of 2016 and 2020.

The club's most recent achievement is another first – by winning the SWPL 1, the Celtic FC Women's side have become the first ever team in the club's history to win Scottish women's football's top flight.

It couldn't have been clinched in a more dramatic manner either.

With Rangers 4-0 up against Partick Thistle across the city, Celtic's city rivals were on course to pip Elena Sadiku's to the championship on the final day.

That is, until Amy Gallacher, great granddaughter of former Celt Patsy Gallacher, slid the ball beyond Hibs' stopper Katie Fraine in the 90th minute, sending a 7,000+ Celtic Park crowd wild.

The celebrations thereafter mirrored the tone of the previous day at the same venue, when the men's team had overcome St Mirren 3-2 before being presented with the Scottish Premiership trophy.

But given Brendan Rodgers' men had already sealed the league a few days prior with a thrilling 5-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, the Celtic FC Women's finale definitely brought its own levels of excitement.

Now, Celtic have released their Unique Angle feature focusing on Gallacher's nail-biting winner.

Celtic will look to add another trophy to their repertoire this season when they face Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final 2024 at Hampden this Saturday.
