One of Glasgow's favourite museums has been named as one of the Top 20 attractions to visit in the UK.
In a new study by card payments provider, Paymentsense, Kelvingrove Museum came in alongside the Giant's Causeway, the Museum of London and Edinburgh Castle (which it beat!)
Paymentsense created the 2022 landmark index, which analysed over 150 UK attractions on a wide range of metrics.

The data points include entry fees, visitor numbers, TripAdvisor ratings, Google search demand, wheelchair accessibility, and dog-friendliness.
These were each scored and ranked out of 100 to reveal the top 50 landmarks to visit in the UK.
And our very own Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum came in at a slick number 9!
So if you find yourself with nothing to do on a weekend, why don't you have a wee gander around the Museum? It's among the best in the UK!
