Hawthorn defender Changkuoth Jiath is facing a one match AFL suspension for a dangerous tackle on St Kilda's Jack Steele.
The 23-year-old was charged with rough conduct after the incident in the first quarter of the Saints' 12-point win over the Hawks on Saturday.
Jiath will miss Hawthorn's trip to Launceston to take on Gold Coast next weekend with an early plea.
In other charges from Saturday's games, Collingwood young gun Nick Daicos has been hit with a fine for striking Travis Boak in the Magpies' narrow win over Port Adelaide.
Daicos will receive a $1500 fine with an early plea.
Several other players from both teams are also facing fines after a first quarter melee at the MCG when Boak was the victim of a ferocious tackle by Brayden Maynard.
Magpies veteran Scott Pendlebury is facing a $2000 fine for rough conduct on Port's Sam Powell-Pepper in the fiery clash.
Sydney's Dane Rampe and GWS's Braydon Preuss have also been hit with fines for separate incidents during Saturday's Sydney derby at the SCG, won easily by the Swans.
From Sunday's matches, West Coast's Jai Culley is certain to come under scrutiny for a high elbow on Noah Anderson after the Suns' midfielder had disposed of the ball.
