Midwife and star of One Born Every Minute will be appearing at a dedicated baby and parent event in Newcastle this month to answer questions from pregnant women and their partners.
Lesley Gilchrist, who featured on the Channel 4 show which follows real life on a maternity ward, went on to launch her own company My Expert Midwife, a successful business which makes skincare products for pregnancy, birth, recovery and beyond.
The company has eight midwives on hand to help parents overcome problems identified by Lesley and her team’s experience of caring for women throughout their pregnancy – from fatigue and morning sickness to itchy, stretched skin, to sore and cracked nipples when breastfeeding.
