Once again, Dillon Brooks refused to talk to the media after Lakers beat Grizzlies

Before and during the Los Angeles Lakers’ first-round playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies, Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks ran his mouth a lot.

Prior to Game 1, he said he was looking forward to taking on L.A. and LeBron James, so he could knock James out right away. During Memphis’ Game 2 win, he talked trash to the four-time MVP, and threw shade at him following the game by calling him old.

Brooks proceeded to hit him in the groin during Game 3, which caused the Memphis wing to be ejected on a flagrant two foul.

Following the Lakers’ wins in Game 3 and Game 4, Brooks refused to talk to the media. He again refused to talk to the press after L.A. knocked the Grizzlies out of the playoffs with a 40-point beat down in Game 6.

Brooks needs to learn that if he ever wants to win a championship, a big part of being a champion is being classy in victory and graceful in defeat. He has been neither.
