PRAYAGRAJ: Beating all odds, as many as seven slum kids including six girls and a boy living in the narrow lanes of Hari Nagar slum and Chungi Parade area, have exceled in UP Board exams.
Interestingly, all these six girls, who once worked either as domestic help and ragpickers to arrange their two square meals, have brought smiles back on their parents’ faces after securing first division in high school results declared by UP Board on Saturday.
