Qatar 2022 is hurtling down the track, with the first ever winter World Cup set to get under way in November.
A host of Premier League stars will jet off to Qatar to compete for football's biggest prize with a number of Leeds players in World Cup contention for their respective nations.
LeedsLive takes a look at who from the Whites squad will be on or off the plane for Qatar 2022...
Robin Koch
Leeds defender Robin Koch will most likely miss out on Germany's 2022 World Cup squad. While he did make their Euro 2020 squad last summer, the centre-back has not featured for Germany since their 1-1 friendly with Denmark in June of last year.
While injuries meant he wasn't selected for any of Hansi Flick's post summer 2021 international squads, Koch is now fully fit. However, the fact he wasn't selected for Germany's Nations League campaign this summer could suggest Koch will be spending the World Cup in Leeds rather than in Qatar.
Verdict: Off the plane
Patrick Bamford
After an impressive breakout 2020/21 Premier League campaign, Patrick Bamford endured a torrid time with injuries last season. The Leeds United striker bagged 17 league goals prior to last season and made his England debut in September 2021.
However, this time around, Bamford missed the majority of last season due to injuries. There are plenty of names ahead of him in the pecking order at international level, making it unlikely Bamford with feature in Qatar.
Verdict: Off the plane
Raphinha
While he might not be at Elland Road for much longer, Brazilian winger Raphinha will almost certainly be in Qatar with Brazil this winter. The 25-year-old has been capped nine times by Brazil, featured in seven of their South American World Cup qualifiers and has scored three goals.
Verdict: On the plane
Tyler Roberts
Tyler Roberts was involved in the majority of Wales' 2022 World Cup qualifiers. However, an injury in March ended his season, meaning he missed out on helping Wales qualify via the World Cup play-offs against Ukraine. He should be back in the Wales squad for the World Cup if he is fit and playing.
Verdict: On the plane
Diego Llorente
Similar to Koch, Diego Llorente made the Spain squad for their Euro 2020 campaign last summer but did not feature off the bench. Prior to last summer's tournament, Llorente had made eight appearance for Spain since 2016.
He was recalled to the Spain squad for their recent Nations League campaign, playing the full 90 against Portugal and Switzerland. Llorente's form at the start of next season could be the deciding factor if making Spain's World Cup squad.
Verdict: In the waiting lounge

Rodrigo
Most of Rodrigo's 27 caps for Spain came between 2014 to 2020. The Leeds striker missed out on the Spain squad for the Euro's last summer but was called up for their World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Greece in November of last year.
However, there are plenty of bigger names ahead of him in the pecking order for Spain, meaning he will likely miss out.
Verdict: Off the plane
Dan James
Dan James is very much on the plane. The Welsh winger has played the majority of their internationals since his debut in 2018 and featured in their recent win over Ukraine which booked them their place at Qatar 2022.
Verdict: On the plane
Kalvin Phillips
Kalvin Phillips' quality is there for all to see. At international level, he was one of England's best players last summer. He has been an ever present member of the England squad since his first call-up back in September 2020 and will almost certainly be on the plane to Qatar 2022 barring injury.
Verdict: On the plane
Mateusz Klich
Mateusz Klich will be at Qatar 2022 with Poland barring injury. While he missed their March play-off finale against Sweden due to suspension, Klich returned to the Poland squad for their Nations League campaign this summer.
Verdict: On the plane
Rasmus Kristensen
Leeds United new boy Rasmus Kristensen will almost certainly be heading to Qatar 2022. Since his debut in September 2021, he has missed out on just one of Denmark's match day squads. Additionally, he has featured in the Dane's last seven international fixtures.
Verdict: On the plane
Brenden Aaronson
USA international Brenden Aaronson was heavily involved in America's World Cup qualifying campaign and will definitely be on the plane to Qatar 2022 in the winter barring injury.
Verdict: On the plane
