In a surprising turn of events, the Boston Celtics managed to secure a victory against the Memphis Grizzlies despite the Celtics’ lackluster performance throughout most of the contest. The Celtics shot 45% from the field and 38% from 3, while the Grizzlies shot 39% from the field and 38% from 3. The Celtics won the game 102-100, thanks in part to a late Kristaps Porzingis flush after a wild final sequence.
However, the Celtics’ offense felt clunky and disorganized, and they seemed to have underestimated the Grizzlies’ ability to compete. The Celtics’ game plan appeared lacking, and their defense struggled to guard several Grizzlies players, resulting in too many open shots and offensive rebounds for Memphis.
