NEIL LENNON has been sacked by Omonia Nicosia.

The former Celtic and Hibernian boss was in charge for just seven months before being released as boss.

The Cyprian side confirmed that Lennon's dismissal was decided due to "ongoing competitive instability and the significant losses of points in the championship".
