BENGALURU: Granting relief to Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), a division bench of the high court has set aside a single-bench order pertaining to the acquisition of certain parcels of land for OMBR Layout in Krishnarajapuram.
On March 31, 2016, a single bench held that physical possession of the land in question (about 2.5 acres) was not taken and hence, the acquisition had lapsed and section 24(2) of the new Land Acquisition Act (of 2013) would apply.
