Omagh CBS bid for All-Ireland glory when they take on Summerhill College in the final of the Masita Hogan Cup on Friday, March 17 at Croke Park.
The MacRory Cup champions last won the All-Ireland Championship in 2007 when their current manager Diarmaid McNulty was playing.
The current squad have every reason to believe they can emulate the achievements of the 2007 team after their MacRory Cup success over Holy Trinity last month.
The Tyrone school followed that victory up with a stunning 4-14 to 0-8 win over last season’s Hogan Cup champions Naas CBS at Clones.
Ruairi McCullagh, who also impressed in the MacRory Cup final, scored his side’s opening goal with Liam Óg Mossey, Conor Owens and Caolan Donnelly also finding the net.
Summerhill claimed an eye-catching 2-11 to 1-11 win over St Brendan’s of Killarney in their semi-final and will be formidable opponents for the Tyrone side.
