Olyroos coach Tony Vidmar is confident Australia's attack will start to click after opening their qualification with a disappointing draw with Jordan.
Australia dominated possession against the 10-man Jordanians but were held to a 0-0 draw at the U23 Asian Cup in Qatar, despite boasting a frontline that included Garang Kuol, Alou Kuol and Mo Toure.
The Olyroos face Indonesia in their second group game on Thursday (11pm AEST), where a win will go a long way towards securing Australia's spot in the knockout stages.
"We probably tried too hard to score that final pass or shot that probably let us down a little bit," Vidmar said.
"With that experience (of playing Jordan), I think we'll be better for it.
"The boys know how to play the game and they all have a quality - that's why they're here.
"It comes down to moments and they have to seize those moments… if we weren't creating that's a concern, but we are creating.
"These teams defend (well), there's hardly any gaps or spaces, we know we've got to be really clinical when we take those chances.
"We defended really well and didn't concede. Overall it was a pleasing start and a platform for us to build on."
On the other side of the Indonesia game, Australia face tournament hosts Qatar to round out their group-stage matches.
"It (the Indonesia game) is a quick turnaround and not all the players will be able to back up," Vidmar said.
"We will look at what's the best way to start the game and have a plan with how we'll finish it.
"We'll look towards the third game once the Indonesia game is done."
