Australian skateboarder Shane O'Neill will need to wait another two days to get his Olympic campaign underway after wet weather caused the postponement of the men's street event until Monday.
The qualifying round and final had been scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon at Place de la Concorde, near where the Olympic cauldron was lit at the conclusion on Friday night's opening ceremony.
But the slippery conditions caused by the wet weather which has hit the French capital in the past two days prompted organisers to reschedule.
It means there will now be 13 gold medals decided on day one of the Paris Olympics.
McNeill, 34, made his Olympic debut in Tokyo three years ago and did not qualify for the final.
He won the street world championship in 2016.
