While breaking records and making history in the water, her accolades outside of the pool are equally as impressive. After she became a Member of the Order of Australia in 2022, the title of Australian of the Year 2024 was added to her growing list of incredible achievements.
Setting new benchmarks in Australian sport and inspiring a whole generation of young people to follow their own visions of success, McKeon’s pioneering spirit has cemented her as one of the country’s most beloved and respected athletes.

During the carnival period, an illustrious guestlist of trailblazing explorers and friends of the house came together to celebrate McKeon and the milestone moment, kicking off the festive season in style.
