Ollie Locke and husband Gareth have excitedly revealed the genders of their unborn babies ahead of welcoming them via surrogate this summer.
Last month, former Made In Chelsea star Ollie, 36 announced that the couple were expecting twins after three-and-a-half-years of trying for a baby and a heartbreaking miscarriage.
After much heartache, determination, and hope, Ollie and Gareth will become proud dads to a son and a daughter as they announced that they are expecting a boy and a girl this summer via surrogate.
Children's author Gareth announced the joyful news as he shared: "As we get towards the finish line, it's become very much more real. It felt like our lives were on hold but now it feels like we're moving forward.
"The babies coming along has reinvigorated everything. When you get such huge disappointment every time, you forget what you're actually trying to achieve.
"And that's been heartbreaking; not being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and only seeing the disappointment," he told Hello! Magazine.
Made In Chelsea favourite Ollie revealed that the couple were expecting twins in a wholesome Instagram post last week.
"We are beyond delighted to finally be able to share the news that we are expecting twin baby Locke-Locke’s into the world this summer," the excited star penned at the time.
"You have all been so wonderful throughout the last 3 years of us trying to have a family and we promise to share every step of this adventure with you all. For all those on their own journey to become parents we are with you and sending all the baby dust your way.
"Thank you to our sensational surrogate @bex7ward for being the most incredible human, the love we have for you and your family is just another level," he added.
The couple's joyful milestone comes after they faced crushing heartbreak after they lost their babies to a miscarriage in 2021.
At the time, Ollie and Gareth shared a photo of a tiny bath robe with Baby Locke Locke embossed on it on Instagram.
Captioning the snap, Ollie explained that "through the course of nature, at 6 weeks and 2 days it stopped growing and had gone".
However the star has since revealed that it was in fact two babies who had sadly died.
