Olivia Rodrigo announces third studio album: ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’

• After dropping clues all over the U.S., from a mural changing different shades of pink in Los Angeles, to locks on bridges in New Jersey, Olivia Rodrigo finally confirmed her third studio album, “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.”
• The album is dropping this summer on June 12.
• While releasing the annoucement, the singer said, “I am so proud of this record and I can’t wait for you to hear it,” she continued. “available for preorder now!”
• Rodrigo dropped her last album “Guts” in 2023, which followed “Sour,” released in 2021 and sent the Disney star into skyrocketing fame.
• Dawning the British Vogue April cover story, the singer alluded to being unhappy in a relationship. “[I thought] that the second I’m in a really great relationship, I’m gonna start feeling good about myself, and this stuff is going to fall into place,” added Rodrigo, who was most recently linked to actor Louis Partridge, at the time. “But it just doesn’t work like that.”
