Olivia Culpo's dining room embraces a calming, pared-back color scheme for a strikingly modern luxe look

Olivia culpo in her dining room.

We can count on Olivia Culpo to epitomize timeless style, and her dining room is no exception. The lifestyle expert's gorgeous tablescape proves that 'neutral' doesn't equate to boring. Through a gorgeous combination of texture, contrast, and pops of color, Culpo elevates a cozy and relaxing palette.

Culpo's dining room is a stylish celebration of warm neutrals. Her warm hardwood floors are topped with a cozy jute rug. White walls with a black and white gallery wall and black marble sconces draw the eye across the space, perfectly complementing the black and glass pendant light. At the center of the room, Culpo's rectangular dining table is cloaked in a long linen tablecloth that matches her plush linen dining chairs. The tablescpape features different heights of pink candle, flowers, and dark napkins that tie the whole look together. It's a modern, luxurious take on a neutral color scheme.

The majority of Culpo's summer tablescape was sourced from one of her favorite retailers: Crate & Barrel. In fact, she loves the brand so much that she registered there for her wedding. Culpo tells Homes & Gardens: 'A huge reason I think people should register with Crate & Barrel is because of the extensive product categories – I love that Crate & Barrel truly is a store for the whole home. There are also so many exclusive kitchen and tabletop items in so many beautiful colors that feel unique and fit any design aesthetic.'

She continues, 'Plus, you can also register for new bedding, towels and the most gorgeous décor pieces to decorate your space. The Crate & Barrel Ophelia Vase on my registry adds so much to a room.'

The modern decor feel of Culpo's space comes through in the minimalist combination of white and wood. From the white walls to the white in the pictures on the walls, the entire back half of the room feels reflective. Exposed beams in the ceiling and the flowers on the table juxtapose this modern look with natural touches for a contemporary energy.

If you hope to recreate Culpo's dining table styling, it's about starting with a neutral base and working from there. Breaking it down into layers, she begins with the basics of a beige linen tablecloth layered with white plates and bowls. From there, gold cutlery and chocolate brown napkins bring a sense of warmth and character to the space. Bronze and black candlestick holders complement the dark notes in the gallery wall behind her, adding to the cohesive feel. Pink, orange and yellow flowers and candles bring in a refreshing spot of color.

By visualizing these three levels in your own home: the basics, the unifiers, and the pop, you can easily replicate the timeless style of this look.

Neutrals are the perfect base for a beautiful room, but they require careful attention to texture, shape, and contrast to bring them to the next level. Olivia Culpo's dining room is a masterclass in using the colors.

We love Olivia Culpo's neutral tablescape, but there are so many different ways to design a table. Whether it's indoors or al fresco tablescaping, we love a patterned tablecloth for bringing visual interest to the dining room. Relaxed linen napkins bring a calming, laid-back feeling to any tabletop. Colorful glassware is another way to add a pop to your dinner instantly.
