Olivia Bowen has revealed the inspiration behind her gender-neutral nursery as her due date nears.
Back in January, the Love Island star shared the exciting news that she and husband Alex were expecting their first child together.
Since then, the pair have been regularly updating fans on their pregnancy journey as they gear up for their new arrival.
Olivia, previously known as Olivia Buckland before her marriage, met her partner on the ITV 2 dating show Love Island back in 2016.
She has since confirmed that they are not finding out the sex of the baby before it is born - expected in June - and so is decorating her luxury nursery using neutral colours.
Instead of the traditional pinks and blues, Olivia is opting for creams and whites, which she previously said is “so calming, tranquil and gender neutral”.
On their Instagram account TheBowenHome, the 28-year-old has given an insight to fans how their newly transformed nursery is coming along over the last few months.
Pictures of the room show sleek wooden flooring and light neutral walls with animal themed wallpaper and furnishings.
A large circular rug covered in letters can be seen sitting in the centre of the nursery with a pale armchair (found in Next) and cute animal cushion - fitting in perfectly with the theme. The space has also proved a hit with their dogs.
Sharing a snap of the "cute" wardrobe by Space Tidy featuring safari oak handles by Wood and Whistles, she wrote: "We went with the colour Oxford stone on the fitted wardrobes to give a seamless look against the walls. Absolutely living for the rattan insert detail, gives it such a lovely depth & vintage feel!"
To go with this are some "cute and tiny" wardrobe dividers from Etsy.
Sharing some of her decorations to Instagram fans, Olivia shared a snap of a stuffed giraffe from the Modern Nursery, pictured in from of her "beautiful soft light brown" walls.
Sharing a snap of her "little dream in a room", she wrote: "Our nursery.
"Here is our little dream in a room. I can’t even explain how calm & inviting this space feels in person, it’s turned out to be more than I even imagined, it doesn’t feel like it should be mine! Thank you to my amazing team on this one @themodernnursery @spacetidy @higgins_electrical_services @aclarkecarpets_flooring.
"This is the little wardrobe corner with our gorgeous nursing chair, the other side I was waiting for our furniture to arrive to show you but I don’t have it yet so I thought I would start by showing you this area."
As shared by Closer Magazine, the 28-year-old has opened up about the inspiration behind her newly transformed nursery as she confirmed she called into The Modern Nursery for some top tips on "potential baby hazards".
Speaking to Closer Magazine about her top tips for decorating, she said: "My top tip for decorating a new house is to live in the space for a bit to see how you navigate the house, where the sun falls, what works, what doesn't.
"It's easy to rush into decorating but how the house functions is so important."
Since Olivia and Alex moved into their luxury Essex home in 2020, they have regularly shared updates of their renovations.
They have added a home gym, cinema room and dog shower for their beloved pet pooches. And there is also a hot tub and outside bar and BBQ area.
