Olivia Attwood has sensationally quit I'm A Celebrity, just a day after the new series started, with sources claiming her decision was a result of 'a medical drama.'
Olivia, who made the Love Island final in 2017, alongside ex Chris Hughes, was a real fan favourite after the launch episode on Sunday night, with viewers loving her have a go attitude and optimism in the face of what horrors might lie ahead for her and her fellow campmates in the jungle. Picking up on the support for her online, bookies then made the 31-year-old joint favourite to win I'm a Celebrity as credits rolled on the launch show.
A show insider told The Sun: "Olivia was involved in a medical drama overnight. She really wanted to go back into the camp but medics won't let her."
The Sun also reports that spokesperson for I'm A Celebrity said: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks.
"Unfortunately the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be a further investigation. She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."
After her shock departure, it is believed that Olivia, who will be seen on screen taking on the first trial of the new series on Monday night, hasn't stuck around Down Under and is already on her way back home to footballer fiancé Bradley Dack.
