Tottenham Hotspur are now in their final stage of preparations for their Premier League opener against Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs completed their pre-season fixtures with a 1-0 defeat to Jose Mourinho's Roma in Israel on Saturday evening, following up the victory against Team K-League and draw against Sevilla in South Korea and the win against Rangers in Glasgow. The players have also been worked hard on the pitches at Hotspur Way and across the world as Antonio Conte aims to get his squad in peak physical condition for the long season ahead.
Tottenham have brought in six new signings for Conte so far and the Italian has been integrating Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence into his philosophy and those high fitness demands.

One player who looks set to miss out on the opening weekend of the season is Oliver Skipp, who suffered a freak training ground injury ahead of the Rangers match which left him with a deep cut on his foot after the impact of a team-mate's stud. The wound needed plenty of stitches and had fellow Spurs players looking away due to the gruesome nature of the injury.
Our Spurs correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest discuss the latest with the young midfielder's injury on their podcast Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham as well as looking ahead to the season's start and the likelihood of further incoming transfers at Tottenham and players leaving Conte's squad.
