Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has revealed goalkeeper Sam Johnstone and midfielder Naouirou Ahamada both want to leave the club.
Palace face Norwich at home in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night and Glasner said it was unlikely either player would feature.
"Sam told us he wants to leave, and so if he finds a club he can leave," Glasner said. "And that, of course, is not the best situation to get a start."
England international Johnstone, who missed out on Euro 2024 due to an elbow injury, has fallen behind Dean Henderson in the pecking order at Selhurst Park, while Glasner said Ahamada would find it hard to gain playing time.
"So maybe there is another option for him (Ahamada) and this is what he is looking for," Glasner added. "And maybe this is what will happen or not."
Palace are looking for their first win of the season, having lost their two Premier League games against Brentford and West Ham respectively.
