Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not ruled out a return to Manchester United as his next job after returning to Old Trafford for the first time on Saturday.
The Norwegian, who spent just under three years in charge, was spotted posing for pictures and signing autographs for supporters in front of the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand ahead of kick-off. Despite the disappointing ending to his tenure as manager, the former striker remains a hugely popular character in M16 following the success of his playing days.
The 50-year-old, who spent 11 years at United as a player, has not returned to management since being sacked by the Reds in the first half of the 2021/22 campaign. However, he has refused to close the door on a return to the dugout at some point in the future.

Speaking at 'An Evening with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer', an in-depth interview with fans that took place in Manchester earlier this week, he hinted that he'd be willing to return to United in a new role at the club.
“I’ve got another job in me, if it’s the right chance and exciting enough," Solskjaer said. "There are so many clubs, but I’m not going to work just for the sake of working.
"It has to be something special, a new culture, or a club that really excites me. Or maybe they will want me back at the club (United) in some capacity, who knows?”
Solskjaer was a surprise guest for United's 2-0 win over Wolves. He was also captured by the MUTV cameras having a catch-up with fellow former United players Danny Simpson and Dion Dublin, hugging the pair of them.
