Amad scored his second goal in three Championship games for Sunderland on Wednesday night to remind Manchester United of his outstanding potential.
Amad, 20, was signed by United from Atalanta in a £37million deal when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was still in charge but has played just three Premier League games for the Red Devils. He joined Sunderland on a season-long loan in August and is aiming to make a name for himself in England.
The Ivory Coast international's good spell of form at Sunderland comes after boss Tony Mowbray dropped him to the reserves and told him he needs to shoot more at the beginning of October. It seems the experienced manager's advice has worked a treat.
