An Oklahoma man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison after admitting he deliberately set fire to a sheriff's deputy's vehicles and home while the deputy's family was inside, in an attack that happened just hours after his release from jail.

Austin Garrett Reeves, 29, of Norman, Oklahoma, was sentenced on 27 August 2026, by US District Judge Patrick R Wyrick to 240 months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release.
