The Phoenix Suns have clinched the best regular-season record in the NBA, which means that its 2022 first-round pick will fall 30th overall, which means that the Oklahoma City Thunder will gain another first-round pick for this upcoming class.
The pick was acquired in the Chris Paul trade with top-12 protections. The Thunder will now have three first-round picks with its own, the LA Clippers pick and the Suns pick.
As things look now, it appears that the Thunder will own one top pick, one middle pick and one late pick in terms of the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft.
