Before the Oklahoma City Thunder’s preseason win against the NBL’s Adelaide 36ers, head coach Mark Daigneault provided an update on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
“The timetable on Shai is still undetermined,” said Daigneault. “We just can’t pinpoint … but he’s progressing and we’ll let you know.”
Daigneault mentioned Gilgeous-Alexander, who has been sidelined the past two weeks with a sprained MCL, is participating in everything but full-contact drills. In the last two preseason games, Gilgeous-Alexander was seen warming up on the court in pregame.
The Thunder starts their regular season in two weeks against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. 19.
