The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Monday that they have recalled Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Aleksej Pokusevski from its G League affiliate — the Oklahoma City Blue.
This comes hours after Robinson-Earl was assigned to the Blue so he could play the home game. Pokusevski has averaged 7.9 points and 6.3 rebounds in 12 games for the Blue; Robinson-Earl recorded a 25 points and 10 rebounds in Monday’s Blue game.
This news was expected. The Thunder have done this exercise multiple times where players get a chance to play afternoon home games for the Blue and then later get recalled for the Thunder for a night home game. The Thunder play the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.
