The Oklahoma City Thunder made a pair of roster moves on Monday.
The Thunder waived Jaden Shackelford and signed Abdul Gaddy. The moves are likely designed to give the Thunder the G League rights to both players, enabling them to be placed on the G League’s OKC Blue roster when their season starts in November.
Shackelford signed with the Thunder on Saturday and appeared in one preseason game.
Gaddy appeared in two games with this year’s Thunder summer league team and spent two seasons (2018-20) with the Blue, with whom he played 87 games and averaged 10.7 points and 8 assists.
