Oil workers set to strike after 'pitiful' pay offer from largest North Sea firm

Oil North Sea Unite

AROUND 50 North Sea oil and gas workers will take strike action over a pay dispute, their union has announced.

Offshore energy workers on the Elgin Franklin and North Alwyn platforms, operated by Neo Next + Energy have voted in favour of 24-hour strikes on July 22 and 29, and three further dates in August (5, 12 and 19 August).
