One of the top pass-catchers in the country was knocked out of the most anticipated matchup of this weekend’s full slate of college football games.
Ohio State wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba left Saturday night’s game against Notre Dame with an injury, finishing with just three yards on two receptions.
The Buckeyes came away with a 21-10 victory, even without one of their best playmakers.
Arguably the top wide receiver prospect in the 2023 NFL draft class, Smith-Njigba is a regular in the top 10 of most early mock drafts. Hopefully, the injury doesn’t prove to be serious, and he’ll be back on the field as soon as possible.
