Ryan Day and the Ohio State football team are on a hot streak with the 2024 recruiting class. The Buckeyes recently received pledges from the Armstrong twins, a pair of offensive linemen from Lakewood, Ohio; James Peoples, the No. 5 running back in the class; and, most recently, five-star receiver Mylan Graham. Could the next BOOM be on the horizon?
One recruiting expert thinks so. Josh Newberg of On3 has logged an expert prediction for Ohio State to land the No. 8 quarterback in the class, Prentiss “Air” Noland.
Noland recently visited OSU and seemed to gain some clarity after the visit, saying “I know where I’m going.” Although the Georgia native traveled to Tuscaloosa after Columbus, it didn’t keep Newberg from crystal balling Noland to Ohio State.

Noland had stated he planned to make his announcement on April 8. Nothing is set in stone, but the Buckeyes appear poised to add piece to an already strong class.
If Ohio State lands Noland, it’ll be at the expense of Alabama, Clemson, Miami, Texas A&M, Oregon and Arkansas, who were in his final seven schools.
