Ohio State Football hasn’t finished up its 2024 recruiting class, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t looking ahead to the 2025 class.
With one commitment at the moment, quarterback Tavien St. Clair, the search for linemen to protect the sign caller is still ongoing. One of the players the Buckeye staff would like to see doing that is California’s Peter Langi, who on Sunday was offered a scholarship.
Langi, stands 6-foot, 7-inches while weighing 330-pounds, does not currently have a designation by the 247Sports Composite Rankings due to the list not having an update. By just looking at his offer list which includes USC, LSU, and Michigan, the offensive lineman will be among the highest-rated in the country.

Langi has the ability to play on the interior of the line or potentially as a right tackle. He’s not quite the ideal size for a left tackle but probably could play there in a pinch. Time will tell if the Ohio State offer has the Californian thinking about heading to the Midwest.
