Ohio State football was extremely successful in regard to transfer portal shopping last season as evidenced by the All-American status earned by Caleb Downs, and it looks like the coaching staff is looking to continue that run of success this season.
We previously discussed that the Buckeyes were in talks with star Purdue Boilermakers’ safety, Dillon Thieneman, and it looks like they are working on an offensive tackle as well. OSU snagged Josh Simmons from the Mountain West Conference and now that he is leaving for the NFL Draft and likely a first round selection, it is not surprising to see it go back to the same well.
Isaiah World is a 6-foot, 8-inch, 309 pound star at offensive tackle who entered the transfer portal after dominating for the Nevada Wolf Pack. The California native has spent four seasons with Nevada and has been All-Mountain West Honorable Mention the past two seasons. Ohio State will be competing with the likes of the Colorado Buffaloes and the LSU Tigers for his services.
